Nobody can give us a reason why
Why Eve never took a breath
Why she never smiled, laughed or cried
Why she never looked us in the eyes
We can only imagine what should have been
We have to learn to live without
Without the life she had to live
Without the love we had to share
Our darling button, we remember your face
The short time we held you tight
The joy you gave whilst in mummy's womb
These memories we will cherish forever.
